Lead Design Manager - Hospital
Salary: OMR 4-4,5000 per month

Our client is a leading holding company based in Oman. They have over 20,000 employees across 14 business units comprising of construction, manufacturing, steel & EPC 

Due to project award they are looking to hire an experienced Lead Design Manager. The role will be overseeing 3 hospital projects (Suwaiq, Khasab, Salalah).

There will be a Design Manager on each project whom you will be responsible for. This role is a head office based position, reporting into the Project Director.

As Lead Design Manager you must come from an Architectural background, however, we are looking for a candidate that has in depth knowledge & understanding of MEP.

The role will be leading and driving the revised design across all 3 projects. There will be discipline leads for civil / structural, MEP and architectural whom will report into the Lead Design Manager.

• British/ Irish/ European nationals due to the stringent visa controls in Oman
• Worked in the UK. NHS projects (essential)
• Design and build (D&B) experience with a contractor-no consultants (essential)
• 15-20 years experience, with 5 years in similar role
• Designed a hospital /healthcare project (essential)
• BSc Architecture
• Middle East experience project experience is essential
• Proven track record of leadership & accountability in previous roles with reputable contractor
• Preference would be given to immediately available candidates
