RETAINED ASSIGNMENT

They are looking to expand their team and have ambitious growth plans to be a leading developer in the Gulf over the next few years.
The Role
The QAQC Manager reports directly to the operations director and is responsible for managing and controlling the quality management systems are fully compliant. You will be responsible for the companies QAQC policies across all projects in the UAE; ensuring both consultants & contractors are following company policies and procedures at all times.

Responsibilities
• Direct the preparation and implementation of the project QMS (quality management system)
• Determine and establish quality objectives
• Prepare and implement the quality plan and the subsequent QA/QC procedures
• Review (continuous) of the quality management system and make adjustments as required
• Review of contract(s) to identify any special quality requirements and advise appropriate departments
• Conduct internal audits and follow-up with proper documentation and corrective actions
• Interface with appropriate departments on problem resolution and changes
• Planning and guidance of all QA/QC personnel
• Implementation of a product quality control methodology
• Continuous improvement of product quality
• Follow-up of internal and external laboratory testing
• Recording, filing and archiving of all QC records
• Statistical interpretation of QC records
• Actualizing product information sheets
• Responsible for product quality budget control
• Obtain quality accreditation according to national norms
• Products complaints/claims management
• Assure that adequate training of QC personnel is done to ensure optimum utilization of inspectors/lab technicians
• Stimulate quality awareness and implications with all employees
• Striving for continuous improvement of the implemented QMS
• Assisting/advising quarry management in respect to quality related matters Skills and competencies requirements
Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:
•BSc Civil Engineering
• 7+ years experience as a senior QA/QC Manager with both contractor & consultants
• Work history that demonstrates increased levels of responsibility and leadership
• Solid people management skills
• Excellent organizational skills
• Proven track record as an internal ISO 9001 auditor
• Excellent English communication skills
• Ability to priorities workload and work under pressure
• Ability to read, interpret and apply engineering drawing requirements
• Excellent knowledge of applicable standards
Salary package is AED 30-35,000 per month + family status + annual bonus
