HSE Officer - Eire Contracting, Riyadh - KSA

Eire Gulf are an Irish leading interior design Design & Build fit out contractor based in Dubai. They have an enviable portfolio of projects across the last 15 years. Due to continuous project awards, they are looking to expand their HSE Division.
*NEBOSH Certified HSE Officer/Engineer.
Experienced in Construction/fitout.
Doesn’t need to be Senior but 5 yrs plus.
.Arabic speaking a plus.*

Experienced Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) Officer with extensive knowledge of safety regulations and compliance requirements. Proven track record of successfully implementing and monitoring safety protocols to ensure the safety of personnel and the environment.

HSE Officer position

Key Responsibilities:
Experienced Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) Officer with extensive knowledge of safety regulations and compliance requirements. Proven track record of successfully implementing and monitoring safety protocols to ensure the safety of personnel and the environment.
Responsibilities:
- Regular review and update as required for Company and Site Specific HSE Plans.
- Preparation of task specific Method Statements & Risk Assessments.
- Ensure all agreed RAMS, safety standards and applicable regulations are followed and carry out and record scheduled and surprise safety inspections at site.
- Consult and communicate with project team members and Client for day to day activities at site.
- Provide technical support on any safety related subjects.
- Ensure proper maintenance, calibration and operation of all safety equipment and valid calibration certificates available.
- Follow up on selection and use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and its care and maintenance.
- Ensure site security, fire, first aid and welfare facilities and procedures are appropriate to the work carried out, provided and properly maintained.
- Ensure employees Welfare measures (Rest Shelter, Cool drinking water, sanitary facilities etc.) are taken care of and monitored regularly.
- Identify potential Environmental effects / impacts and ensure all measures are taken to protect the Environment during all phases of project.
- Identify trends and suggest improvement plans.
- Safety officers must have a thorough understanding of KSA regulations and industry-specific safety guidelines/standards.
- NEBOSH certified.
- In-depth knowledge of Construction & Fitout methodologies.
- Valid KSA Driving License
