Senior Leadership appointment
Our client is seeking a General Manager overseeing the Asphalt Surfacing and Contracting Division. The General Manager will lead and manage the division's resources, ensuring adherence to safety standards and quality objectives.

Responsibilities 
Overseeing operations, managing project timelines, budgets, and the workforce, maintaining quality assurance for materials and end products, and collaborating with senior management to develop strategies for division growth. The role also involves fostering client relationships, optimizing production levels, and ensuring compliance with regulations and contracts.

Requirements

• Civil Engineering, QS, or Asphalt and Paving Diploma/Degree through Derby University.

• Extensive experience in Asphalt Production, Road Construction, and Surfacing operations, with a strong understanding of industry standards and best practices.
• Proven leadership capabilities, including workforce management, team collaboration, and strategic problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in quality assurance, materials testing, and compliance with regulatory and operational standards.
• Experience with financial budgeting, cost estimations, and production planning is essential.
• Strong communication, organizational, and relationship management skills to liaise with clients and stakeholders effectively.
• Previous managerial experience in the Middle East is beneficial.
• At least 15 years of experience, of which 5-7 are in a senior Manager role.
