Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to lead our Ready-Mix Division. This pivotal role requires a visionary leader with strong financial acumen, operational expertise, and the ability to drive growth while ensuring quality, compliance, and safety across all functions.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure division cash flow without burdening organizational credit lines
Prepare and submit annual budgets (Sales, Cost, Cash Flow, Capital, Manpower) to CFO on time.
Monitor and justify budget variances exceeding 5%
Establish and enforce pricing policies with standard margin on material (MOM)
Control costs per cubic meter and manage daily financial transactions
Maintain and grow market share through strategic sales planning
Lead and motivate the sales team to achieve company goals
Ensure timely and efficient delivery to customers and divisions
Strengthen company image through marketing initiatives
Build strong relationships with developers, architects, contractors, and ministries
Lead tendering processes and establish market penetration strategies
Oversee daily schedules and ensure smooth execution of bookings
Develop a robust nationwide distribution network with suppliers
Optimize raw material inventory levels to meet planned volumes
Manage maintenance teams, daily asset inspections, and preventive schedules
Lead technical teams in adopting new technologies and product development
Maintain efficient quality control systems aligned with ISO standards
Ensure compliance with Ministry Standards and customer-approved mix designs
Formulate concrete mix designs tailored to project specifications
Uphold high safety and security standards across plants and sites
Develop KPIs, Balance Scorecard, and performance bonus schemes
Restructure the company organization to remain agile in changing markets
Identify training needs to enhance staff competence
Ensure optimal staffing levels without shortages or surpluses
Maintain worker safety through robust processes and procedures
Proven leadership experience in ready-mix or construction-related industries.
Strong financial management and budgeting expertise.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Deep knowledge of quality standards, ISO compliance, and safety regulations.
Ability to drive operational efficiency and market growth.
