Project Director - Tier 1 Contractor

Our client is one of the largest and most respected Tier 1 contractors in the UAE. They specialise in large building projects ranging across - hospitality, residential, commercial & high end luxury developments. Employing over 10,000 staff they have grown organically from the ground up, always investing in their core team of employees. Projects range from $100 million - $1billion. Their management team are highly respected expats, who have been involved in many of the UAE's iconic developments including the Burj Al Arab, Burj Khalifa & Damac Hills development. 
 
Due to growth they are looking to hire a an experienced Project Director to join their project team in Dubai. 

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Project Manager with a strong background in high-rise construction. The ideal candidate will oversee and coordinate all phases of high-rise building projects, ensuring timely delivery, cost efficiency, and adherence to the highest quality and safety standards.
Responsibilities:
o    Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets.
o    Oversee the execution of high-rise construction projects, ensuring milestones are met on time and within budget.
o    Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and project evaluations.
o    Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, subcontractors, and vendors.
o    Communicate effectively with all stakeholders to align expectations and resolve issues.
o    Manage contracts and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
o    Lead multidisciplinary project teams, including engineers, site supervisors, and subcontractors.
o    Assign tasks, monitor progress, and ensure accountability within the team.
o    Promote a collaborative and productive work environment.
o    Ensure projects meet quality standards and comply with regulatory and safety requirements.
o    Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, identify issues, and implement corrective actions.
o    Monitor project budgets, control costs, and ensure optimal use of resources.
o    Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to achieve cost-effective solutions.
o    Prepare and present progress reports, financial updates, and forecasts to senior management and clients.
o    Maintain accurate project documentation and records.
Qualifications and Experience:
•    Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
•    Minimum of 15 years of experience in construction project management, with a proven track record in high-rise projects.
•    Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and methods.
•    In-depth understanding of regulations and safety standards.

•    Effective communication and negotiation skills.
•    Ability to handle multiple priorities under pressure
